What therapy services are offered?

Therapy at Katie’s Way is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to you. Our licensed therapists help you make sense of what’s going on, build skills that work in real life, and move toward lasting change. We partner closely with our in-house psychiatry team so your care is coordinated and you don’t have to navigate it alone.

What can I expect?
  • A thoughtful start. We begin with a diagnostic interview to understand your history, strengths, goals, and what’s helped (or not) before.
  • A clear plan. Together, we’ll set goals and choose approaches that fit your needs, culture, and schedule.
  • Team-based care. With your permission, your therapist coordinates with psychiatry, your PCP, and—when you choose—family/support people.
  • Progress you can feel. We track outcomes with brief check-ins so we can adjust quickly and keep what’s working.

How sessions work
  • Assessment: We learn your story and set goals
  • Active work: Weekly or biweekly sessions focused on skills and practice between visits.
  • Review & adjust: We measure progress and adapt your plan.
  • Sustain: Space out sessions or pause with a plan to maintain gains.
Access and locations

Confidential, welcoming, and non-judgmental care is available in person (select clinics) and via secure teletherapy. Same-week starts are often available. We accept TRICARE, Medicare, Medicaid, and many commercial plans (coverage varies by clinic). Self-pay options are available.

Walk-in consultation

Some clinics offer same-day, walk-in consultations for brief support, triage, and next-step planning. We’ll help you decide if therapy, psychiatry, or community resources are the best fit and get you scheduled.
